I'm Stewart Miley, the founder of Dovetail Construction. After years in the field working on everything from residential remodels to large-scale government and commercial builds, I started Dovetail to focus on what I enjoy most: helping homeowners bring their ideas to life with precision and care.

At Dovetail, we believe that great construction is about more than just tools and timelines—it's about trust, clear communication, and doing the job right. We bring a hands-on approach, honest guidance, and an eye for detail to every project, no matter the size.

Based in Marin County, we work throughout the North Bay and beyond. Whether you're restoring a historic home, renovating a kitchen, or building from the ground up, we’re here to make the process smooth, collaborative, and even enjoyable.

When I'm not on a job site, you’ll probably find me on the mountain bike, trail building, or spending time with family here in Marin.
